Patch 3.3.5

So, its here. Now what do we think about it?

I for one like it.

I enjoy the small features that they put in- they really just make life a little nicer.

I have a couple RL friends who I added to my Real ID- its an interesting idea, and I like it so far- but I'm not sure how far I want it to be able to go.

It does mean that we can now cross-faction and cross-realm chat if we want, which is pretty cool because I have some friends who are diehard hordies and others who are all for the alliance. So now I can chat with both of them

I haven't seen the effects of the new vote-kick workings, in which those who stay in groups and kick less are given the right to kick more whereas those who kick more and drop often have left privileges.

Finally, the 'report' button has been fixed, so that you can complain about their name, spam or (I think) innapropriate behavior.

Anyways, its pretty nice, plus I got to zone into the ruby sanctum. Well, I saw the loading screen and was then kicked out, but...

First Toon

This is Arugal. He is a level four Nelf Warrior on Nazgrel. He was my second toon I ever made. I haven't logged on him in at least a year. One of my friends (whose name I no longer know) had convinced me to get WoW and roll a toon on his server- Nazgrel-A. So I did. I even gathered up the ridiculously expensive price (30c) to mail to his main, Palanar. Never heard from him again.

And this here is Crugar- Eitrigg-A. He was my first toon I ever made. My friend (mentioned above) told me to make my character on the Server Nazgrel. But at the time I was a noob and the game told me to pick a realm. I thought that that was different from a server. Yeah, I was a noob. So I made a Nelf Druid. As of now he is level 26 and I hadn't logged on on him since patch 3.1.

I had some friends on Eitrigg that I made through playing, but at the end of August, they all disappeared. One had been on a trial and two went on vacation. I tried solo play-totally disconnected from the world and it felt weird. So I rolled some more toons- Alliance and Horde on Eitrigg- but never got into them (I think the next highest was a level 7 Orc Hunter).

Anyways, I then managed to find Ursin, home of the Sluggy Freelance guild, and rolled a toon there:
And the rest is over 41 days /played on this toon. 27 /played at level eighty. 79 /played over all toons. Gawd.

The Patch is Upon Us!

Patch 3.3.3 is finally here! Woohoo for BGs!

The patch doesn't contain too much that excites me a whole lot, but I do enjoy the BG changes.

As soon as I got on, I queued for a random BG and got Strand of the Ancients.

I got 100 HKs, we won, and I got a resulting 7k Honor.

I followed that up with two Arathi Basin Losses, which each netted me about 5 HKs and a net of 800 Honor.

I turned in my old Marks of Honor and finished up my Lv 60 PvP set, now all I need is another 15k Honor for my Lv-60 2H sword, and then 250k Honor for all five honor mounts. Then I'll try and get the Alterac Valley mount, which will require more honor.

With my little experience, I plan on doing my daily BG and then farming WSG, AV or Isle of Conquest, depending where I get the most kills.

Thirdly I'll begin to spend Triumph Emblems on PvP gear so I can kill stuff betterer.

Yeah, I'll be so much betterer you will all die! DIE!

Patch 3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3.3...

Or so I've been told...

Anyways, since this is the big news in WoW, I've decided to write my take on it.

I am not going to bother posting everything about patch 3.3.3 because this is not a new blog. This is a personal opinion, experiences etc... blog. It simply doesn't make sense for me to post what other people have posted hours or days ago, in less detail. If you want news, check mmochampion or wowinsider.

Anyways, 3.3.3 is going to be a minor update patch. They are going to fix a few things in games, mostly balance issues and they will also be touching up the BG system.

For the BG system they are removing Marks of Honor as well as buffing the HK honor gain. This is wonderful for me because it will allow me to not only get the PvP mounts, but I will also be able to finish off my Lv 60 PvP set.

Additionally, news has been leaked of the upcoming patch 3.3.5 which doesn't make sense to me because 3.3.3 has just been released on the ptr and there has been no mention of 3.3.4.

With respect to 3.3.5, they have announced more bosses for the place below Wyrmrest Temple. This is supposed to be the forerunner to the Cata world event but the bosses will have Lich King level loot tables.

The above fact makes me very sad. Because of the loot levels there will be a corresponding difficulty and I feel that it is very unlikely that TOC will be able to get through the place. I would find it much more agreeable if it were on the same level as regular ICC or perhaps even ToC.

Anyways, I also disagree that if these new dragons are implemented that Arthas is the last boss of the expansion, because there were bosses that came after him.
